ELLERSLIE HOMES
Originally a single dwelling, this Ellerslie site has been redeveloped into three two-level homes, each defined by a clean and classic material palette.
White horizontal bevelback is paired with black vertical shiplap in a narrower DL01 profile, creating a strong contrast of lines and proportions. The grooved vertical boards reference the proportions of traditional cedar weatherboards, offering the appearance of timber while utilising a more durable fibre cement material.
Installed on a 40mm structural cavity batten, the cladding sits flush with the bevelback, allowing for deeper window reveals and a more refined façade, with high-performance windows selected to support thermal comfort throughout the year.
The outcome is a simple yet considered exterior, delivering a timeless finish that sits comfortably within the surrounding neighbourhood.
